Boulder retreats & private experiences

Plan Your Colorado Visit

Give the practical details the same care as the experience itself.

Use this guide to prepare questions about timing, lodging, transportation, and support. Confirm your individual arrangements with Dr. LeTa before purchasing travel.

Before you book flights or lodging

Start with a discovery call and the required screening and registration steps. An inquiry or application does not confirm participation. Before making nonrefundable arrangements, obtain confirmation of your eligibility, dates, session location, arrival and departure requirements, and cancellation terms.

Private sessions and retreats can involve different locations and schedules. Do not choose lodging solely because it is in Boulder; confirm the address and transportation plan for your specific offering first.

Preparation dates to put in your calendar

Complete screening and both individual preparation sessions at least seven days before Saturday’s ceremony — by October 31, 2026 for the November retreat. Group preparation meets on Zoom on Wednesday, November 4, and group integration on Wednesday, November 11. Both are two hours: 5–7 p.m. Mountain / 4–6 p.m. Pacific / 7–9 p.m. Eastern.

Getting to Colorado

If you are flying, Denver International Airport (DEN) is an option to consider when planning a Boulder visit. Ground transportation options at DEN include rental cars, public transit, taxis, rideshares, and shuttles. Check the airport’s official parking and transportation page for current options and pickup information.

Confirm your destination address before choosing a route. Allow room for flight delays, baggage, traffic, weather, and checking in to your accommodation. Travel time varies; avoid building your plan around a tight connection to the start of the program.

Ask whether arriving the day before would make your schedule more workable. An early arrival or extended stay is a personal travel expense unless your written arrangements say otherwise.

Choose lodging around the actual schedule

Lodging is not included in the November retreat. Once your location is confirmed, consider a quiet place with manageable transportation, food access, and the accessibility features you need. Check check-in and check-out times, stairs or elevator access, parking, and the property’s cancellation policy.

Ask about the planned end of the program before booking your departure. Leave space for rest and follow-up arrangements rather than assuming you will want to move directly from a session into airport travel.

Arrange transportation after your session

Do not plan to drive after a psilocybin session. Agree on transportation and support with your facilitator beforehand, including who will collect you and what will happen if plans change. Do not assume an unaccompanied rideshare will meet your individual departure plan.

Please arrange your own transportation to and from the retreat space. The retreat team does not provide rides. For your return after Saturday’s session, arrange pickup by a trusted person or another transportation plan agreed in advance with your facilitator. Confirm your destination, ride, and support afterward before the retreat. Do not drive after the session. Departure follows the facilitator’s assessment and the healing center’s discharge process. A rental car may be useful on other days; it does not replace your post-session ride plan.

Optional Thursday and Monday private care

Appointments are available separately on Thursday, November 5, and Monday, November 9, around the retreat weekend. These may include individualized preparation or integration, acupuncture, therapeutic bodywork, and Chinese medicine consultation.

Appointments are subject to availability and separately priced. Ask about suitability, what is included, and additional costs such as herbal formulas. Confirm appointment times before extending your lodging or changing flights.

Share access and comfort needs early

Before booking, discuss mobility or stair access, seating or lying-down needs, bathroom access, sensory sensitivities, allergies, dietary requirements, and communication preferences. Ask for specific information about the space rather than assuming all venues offer the same accommodations.

Bring your medication and supplement questions to screening. Follow individualized instructions for medication, meals, and hydration; do not start a fasting, cleanse, or medication-change plan based on travel advice.

A practical packing checklist

  • Comfortable clothing and layers suited to the forecast.
  • Your confirmed itinerary, addresses, contact information, and transport plan.
  • A journal and pen, and an eye mask or other comfort items if requested.
  • Essential personal items and any medications arranged with your care team.
  • Chargers and the details of your agreed support person.

Confirm what the venue supplies and what you should bring. Check the forecast close to departure and leave flexibility for changing conditions.

Plan for returning home, too

Consider work, caregiving, meals, and support after you return. Make room in your calendar for your agreed integration sessions. You do not need a perfectly clear interpretation of the experience before asking for support.

For private work, discuss your own arrival, session, and departure schedule directly with Dr. LeTa. See private-session details, or compare private sessions and retreats.

Plan together

Start with your questions.

A discovery call is a place to discuss the offering, participation process, and the practical arrangements to confirm before you travel.
